Now FINAL FANTASY® CRYSTAL CHRONICLES®: Echoes of Time™ is set to take the idea further with full local and online co-op play across two platforms simultaneously. Confused? Don't be! It just means that you and three of your friends can play together, with almost any combination of the DS and Wii versions of the game. SQUARE ENIX is proud to announce that ATLUS's cult high school murder mystery Persona™ 4 will be coming to Europe next spring, exclusively for PlayStation®2! If you like your games a little surreal and twisted, it's definitely worth digging out and firing up your faithful old PS2 for this one! We'll have more to tell you early in the new year, but look out for press coverage of the game's US release until then. America sure seems to be loving it!

The inaugural MTV Video Game Awards took place on the 20th November in buzzing Berlin, and, to cut a long story short, we WON something! Two things, in fact! CRISIS CORE® -FINAL FANTASY® VII- scooped the Whole World In Your Pocket award (best handheld), while FINAL FANTASY® XIII bagged the Do Believe the Hype award (most anticipated). As we love the former, and hyperventilate when we think about the latter, we feel somehow validated! THANK YOU!

The second chapter in the galaxy-spanning STAR OCEAN® saga is set to enter synchronous orbit over Europe early in 2009. Like the excellent STAR OCEAN®: First Departure™, it will arrive fully loaded with all-new real-time battles, voice-overs and anime sequences from Production I.G! If you played the first game, you'll be happy to hear that the heroic crewmen of the Calnus will be making an appearance, and if you didn't, play it and share our joy!

Who doesn't like Valkyries? We know we do. We especially like their ability to stay warm in the cold Nordic winter with barely enough clothing to cover their mighty (yet feminine) modesties. Anyway, the latest instalment in the VALKYRIE PROFILE® series is scheduled for release in spring (when our chilly Valkyries will be considerably warmer), exclusively for Nintendo DS. Expect multiple story paths and endings, and more info in the new year!

If you enjoyed FINAL FANTASY TACTICS® A2: Grimoire of the Rift™, there´s a very good chance you´ll like this equally excellent tactical battler. DISGAEA® 3: Absence of Justice is slated for a 2009 release here in Europe and will be followed by two other games from acclaimed developer Nippon Ichi: DISGAEA® DS and RHAPSODY™: A Musical Adventure.
